Welcome to the web site of Costa Blanca Samaritans, the first ever Samaritan service in Spain, which opened on 24th July 2008.

Costa Blanca Samaritans offers a free, completely confidential, non-judgemental, telephone-based emotional support help-line service for any English speaker of any age who may be experiencing distress or despair, and who might be feeling suicidal. We believe that whatever problems someone may have, whether big or small, they do not have to be alone with them.

and is open every weekday evening between 8p.m. and midnight.

This site will help you find out more about Costa Blanca Samaritans and the way we operate and what we believe, and how you can help people experiencing emotional difficulties. We are a new organisation, registered with the Generalitat Valenciana as a not-for-profit organisation and we are operated entirely by un-paid volunteers. We intend to continue to expand and develop the service and your feedback on what we do would be appreciated and helpful. Using the form available on the site will not disclose your identity in any way – an essential principle of Samaritan operation.
