Other Agency Assistance and our Supporters

Samaritans in Spain offers confidential advice to individuals in emotional turmoil, however, it may be that this is not quite what you are looking for. We recognise that you may need totally different support or advice. In order to help you find the appropriate service we list below some other advice services here in Spain, particularly but not exclusively, those based around the Costa Blanca.

In addition Samaritans in Spain is entirely dependent on donations, whether this is the time and skills of the listeners and supporters, or the donations of funds or equipment from the many organizations, individuals and businesses up and down the coast that have already helped. More of both are always needed to maintain and build the service, where further extension is entirely dependent on volunteer numbers and funding.

We are pleased to acknowledge here other helping organisations and our supporters - perhaps you will become one of them? If you are interested in having your organisation linked here or in helping Samaritans in Spain in any way, please contact us at info@costablancasamaritans.com or the webmaster at lubbertus22@hotmail.com

Alicante Consulate We cover the Autonomous Regions of Valencia, Murcia and Albacete province. There are consular representatives in: Denia, Murcia and Valencia; please direct your first contact to the Alicante Consulate.

MumAbroad Spain offers advice in English from local mums on life in Spain with babies, toddlers and kids.

Are you or a loved one suffering from the misuse of alcohol or drugs? This is a service dedicated to those that are suffering from the effects of alcohol or drug misuse.
There are a significant number of older people living in Spain for whom English is their first or second language. Age Concern España is in a unique position to provide support to these people through its large network of English speaking volunteers. We are also committed to integration in Spain and are developing stronger links with Spanish organisations
We provide financial, social and emotional care and support to all members of the British Armed Forces - past and present and their families.
The Associacion Help Vega Baja is a charity providing Emergency help to the English speaking population of the Southern Costa Blanca, particularly, but not exclusively, concerned with hospitalisation.
